Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (this "Policy") explains how billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds work for ArmorSign, the e-signature service provided by Armorstack, LLC ("Armorstack," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This Policy is part of, and incorporates by reference, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Service regarding billing, this Policy controls.

1. Free Trial

We may offer a 14-day free trial of ArmorSign Pro (the "Trial"). You will not be charged during the Trial. You may cancel at any time before the Trial ends to avoid any charge.

If you do not cancel before the Trial ends, your paid subscription (the "Subscription") begins automatically at the end of the Trial, and we will charge the payment method on file for the first billing period at the then-current price. Trial eligibility and duration may vary and are offered at our discretion; one Trial is generally available per customer.

2. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

ArmorSign Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Each charge pays for the upcoming one-month billing period (the "Billing Period").

Your Subscription automatically renews for successive Billing Periods until you cancel. By starting a Subscription (including by allowing a Trial to convert), you authorize Armorstack and Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for the subscription fees, plus any applicable taxes, at the start of each Billing Period, without further action by you. You are responsible for keeping your payment method current and valid.

If a charge fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend or downgrade your access until payment is received. Renewal occurs at the then-current price, subject to the notice described in Section 5.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your Subscription at any time, in either of the following ways:

Cancellation stops future renewals. When you cancel, your Subscription remains active through the end of the Billing Period you have already paid for, and then it will not renew. Cancellation does not retroactively cancel or refund a Billing Period that has already begun, and we do not reactivate or re-bill a past period. After cancellation takes effect, your access to paid features ends, and you should export any documents or data you wish to retain before that time.

4. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable, except as expressly stated in this Policy or as required by law. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial Billing Periods, for unused time, for downgrades, or for periods during which your account remained open but you did not use the service.

We will, in good faith, review a refund request in two situations if you report it within 30 days of the charge:

  1. You believe a charge was made in error (for example, a duplicate or unauthorized charge); or
  2. You experienced a material failure of the service that we were unable to resolve within a reasonable time after you notified us.

Approval of any such request is at our reasonable discretion, and any refund or credit we grant is limited to the amount actually charged for the affected Billing Period. Nothing in this Policy limits or waives any statutory or consumer-protection rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable law; those rights are preserved.

5. Price Changes

We may change the price of ArmorSign Pro from time to time. We will provide advance notice of any price change (for example, by email to your Account email or through the app), and the new price will take effect at the start of your next Billing Period after the notice. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect, as described in Section 3. Continuing your Subscription after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at solutions@armorstack.ai so we can work to resolve it quickly. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to the service. We reserve the right to respond to and contest disputes with supporting account and usage records.

7. Taxes & Currency

All fees are stated and charged in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for any applicable sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes and government charges associated with your Subscription, other than taxes based on our net income. Where we are required to collect such taxes, they will be added to your charge.

8. How to Cancel or Request a Refund

To cancel or request a refund, do either of the following:

We aim to acknowledge cancellation and refund requests within two business days. To help us process your request, please send refund requests within the 30-day window described in Section 4.
